The National University Commission (NUC) has decided to develop Nigerians of professionally and that would serve as catalyst of change and agents of scientific and technological advancement as well as sustainable economics. This would actually be achieved through the major sponsorship of good or outsanding student for postgraduate studies in the top 25 Universities in the World. Because of this, the Federal Government of Nigeria has actually ask the Presidential Special Scholarship Scheme for good Innovation and Development.

The PRESSID implementation Committee is in need of applicants who are qualified for the second edition of the scheme or porgramme (The 2014/2015 academic session)

Eligibility Criteria For The Programme or Scheme

Interested Candidates or Applicants Should:

1) Be a graduates from the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 academic sessions, and you would have completed your NYSC by October 2013

2) Applicant must have obtained First Class Honours degree from a recognized and approved University in the following disciplines and aim at postgraduate degree int he specified and allied disciplines:

a) Sciences: Operation Research, Industrial Chemistry, Nuclear Physics, etc

b) Basic Medical Science: Medical Biochemistry, Anatomy, Physiology etc

c) Special Aspect Of Biology: Molecular Biology, Biometrics etc

d) Economics: Development Economics, Econometrics etc

e) Engineering And Technology: Software Engineering, Material and Production Engineering, Mechatronic, Metallurgy, Aeronautical Engineering etc

f) Medicine: Hepatology, Nuclear Medicine, Human Genetics, Oncology, etc

In the case of Medicine, applicant must also have a minimum of 2 distinctions in their year 3 and year 4 MBBS examinations

In All cases, Applicants Must:

- Applicant should not be more than 30 years

- applicant must be computer literate
